AMAREL - It means "The Message or Word of God"

Satan, The Adversary,
also known as The False Accuser,
most certainly exists.
However, there's a lot of "dis-information"
(lies, myths, legends, and deceptions)
that surround this being.

The Word of YAHWEH (God)
has a great deal to teach us concerning his origins,
his tactics,
and his guaranteed fate.

Below are a number of Scripture verses
that speak to these issues.
Read them.
Look them up in context
- where they occur
- and read all the surrounding material also.
Only in this way will you get the full picture
of who and what this entity
is and what his agenda is in the world.

As you begin this review of his origin, character, and practices
it's vital that you understand
                             HE IS ALREADY DEFEATED! 

The life, death, resurrection and ascension of the one known
as The Messiah, YAHUSHUA (Jesus, Yeshua, etc.)
has already won the victory over him.
And he, the enemy, knows it!

With this in mind you can approach this subject
with the recognition
that even though he is evil through and through
there is a way for you to be completely protected
from any permanent damage he can do to you.
It's found in a relationship with YAHWEH and His Son, YAHUSHUA.

The following Scriptures provide many insights
into the one known as The Devil, that old Serpent, etc.
Satan is identified as the adversary
of those who believe in YAHWEH.
In fact, Satan means opponent, or adversary.

But Satan is not his name.
His name is Lucifer.
Satan is only a title. In fact,
it’s a transliteration of the Hebrew term satan.

Please look carefully at what follows.

If there's any deception in your life,
he is the source of it.
He is the source of every lie or falsehood.
You need to learn who and what he is
as well as what he can and cannot do.
Only The Word of YAHWEH
 will help you properly understand these things.

By contrast, YAHWEH is identified as The God of Truth.
YAHUSHUA, His Son, is also identified as The Truth.
If Truth is what you seek, then YAHWEH is your source.

What's given below is only a summary.
It's presented to give you an overview.
It's not intended to be an all inclusive listing
of references to The Adversary,
but rather a springboard
from which you can learn more if you're so inclined.

As you begin I urge you to ask YAHWEH to protect you
and to teach you whatever it is
you need to learn from these references.
May He bless you richly as you study His Word.

Before we get into the specifics
it’s worth having an understanding
of the terms that are "translated" in most Bibles
as Satan and the devil.

Here are the Hebrew and Greek terms used, along with their meanings:
Note: Everything after the (-) is a word used in the KJV Bible.
It is not part of the definition.

7854. NDfDc satan, saw-tawn´; from 7853; an opponent;
especially (with the article prefixed)
Satan,  the arch-enemy of good):
- adversary, Satan, withstand.
7853. NAfDc satan, saw-tan´; a primitive root; to attack,
(figuratively) accuse:
- (be an) adversary, resist.

4566. Sata◊n Satan, sat-an´;
of Hebrew origin (H7854); Satan, i.e. the devil:
— Satan. Compare 4567.
4567. Satana◊ß Satanas, sat-an-as´;
of Chaldee origin corresponding to 4566
(with the definite affix); the accuser, i.e. the devil:
- Satan.

1228. dia¿boloß diabolos, dee-ab´-ol-os; from 1225;
a traducer; specially, Satan (compare H7854):
- false accuser, devil, slanderer.

1225. diaba¿llw diaballo, dee-ab-al´-lo;
from 1223 and 906; (figuratively) to traduce:
- accuse.

In Hebrew the term is always satan.
There is no other term used.
In Greek there are two terms used, Satan and diabolos.
Each of these is used, incorrectly, as his “name”.
His name is Lucifer.
Every other term is technically a description of what he is. 

A satan is an opponent.
A diabolos is a traducer.
Traduce means to slander, or defame, to belittle. 

From these have come the concepts
of Lucifer being a false accuser,
one who slanders you by making false claims concerning you.
One who does this type of thing
is considered to be an adversary (opponent).

Interestingly, if you substitute the definitions
in place of the “translated” words in Scripture
you’ll discover the titles, in capital letters, are not necessary.
Indeed, Scripture does not seek to give any honor to Lucifer
by repeating his name.
If you eliminate the capital letters
(which were never part of the original texts)
you end up with what is always an indirect reference to him.

Titles By Which Satan Is Known:

Abaddon/Appolyon/Angel of the Bottomless Pit
Revelation 9.11:  And they had as king over them
the messenger of the bottomless pit,
whose name in the Hebrew language is Abaddon
[a destroying messenger],
and in Greek he has the name Apollyon [destroyer]. 

Accuser
Revelation 12.10: Then I heard a loud voice saying in The Heaven,
“This day salvation has come,
even the miraculous power and the kingdom of our Elohim
and the authority of His Messiah,
because the accuser of our brothers,
who brought charges against them
in the presence of our Elohim day and night,
has been thrown down.

Adversary
1 Peter 5.8-9:  Be sober!
Stay alert,
because your opponent [adversary], the false accuser,
is walking about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may swallow up;
5:9 whom you are to resist, being stable in the faith,
understanding that the same sufferings
are being fulfilled by your brotherhood amidst the world.

Belial
2 Corinthians 6.15:  And what accord has The Messiah with Belial?
Or what portion has a believer with a disbeliever?
- Belial means without profit, worthless.

Ba’al Zebub, The Prince of the Devils
Matthew 12.24:  But the Pharisees, having heard it said,
“This one does not expel defiled natures
except by Ba’al Zebub [master of the flies],
the ruler of the defiled natures.”

Chief Ruler of the Power of the Air
Ephesians 2.2-3:  in which you formerly walked
according to this worldly age,
according to the chief ruler of the authority power of the air,
the nature which is now working
in the children of disbelief,
3 among whom we also all formerly lived
in the longings of our flesh,
doing the choices of the flesh and of the mind,
and were by nature children of wrath,
even like the rest.

The Devil
Matthew 4.1: YAHUSHUA Then was led up
by the Divine Nature of YAHWEH into the wilderness
to be tested by the false accuser.

Hurtful One
Matthew 13.19:  When anyone hears the message of The Kingdom
yet does not understand
it the hurtful one comes
and seizes what was sown in his heart.
This is the seed beside the road.

Father of Lies
John 8.44:  You are of your father, The False Accuser,
and the desires of your father you desire to do.
He was a murderer from the beginning,
and does not stand in the truth,
because there is no truth in him.
When he speaks a lie, he speaks from himself,
because he is a liar, and the father of it.

God Of This Age
2 Corinthians 4.3-4:  But even if our good news is covered up,
it is covered up to those who are perishing,
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded;
who disbelieve, lest the light of the splendor
of the good news of The Messiah,
Who is the likeness of YAHWEH,
should shine on them.

Lucifer 
Isaiah 14.12:   How you have fallen from The Heavens, 
Morning Star, son of the dawn! 
You have been cut down to the ground, 
you who weakened the nations! 

Murderer/Liar

John 8.44:  You are of your father, The False Accuser,
and the desires of your father you desire to do.
He was a murderer from the beginning,
and does not stand in the truth,
because there is no truth in himbecause he is a liar, and the father of it..
When he speaks a lie, he speaks from himself,

Ruler of Darkness
Ephesians 6.10-12: Finally, my brothers, be strong in YAHWEH
and in the vigor of His power.
11 Put on the whole armor of YAHWEH
 so that you may be able to stand
against the trickery of The Adversary.
12 Indeed, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,
but instead, we wrestle against chief rulers,
against authorities,
against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age,
against non-carnal depravity in The Heavens.

Ruler of This World
John 14.30:  I will no longer talk much with you.
Indeed, the ruler of this world is coming.
Yet he has not even one thing in Me.

Serpent
Rev. 20:2 And He laid hold on the dragon,
that old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan,
and He bound him a thousand years,

Defiled Nature
Matthew 12.43: When a defiled nature goes out of a human being
he traverses through waterless places seeking rest and finds none.

His Origin:

Isaiah 14.10-21: All of them respond and say to you, 
‘You yourself את are even weak like us! 
You are like us!
11 Your arrogance has been brought down to She’ol, 
the sound of your stringed instruments.
Under you maggots are spread out, 
even crimson maggots are your covering.’ 
12 How you have fallen from The Heavens, 
Morning Star, son of the dawn!
You have been cut down to the ground,
you who weakened the nations!
13 And you yourself את have said in your heart,
‘I will ascend to The Heavens!
Higher than the stars of The El
I will raise up my throne! 
And I will sit on the mountan of assembly
 on the borders of the north! 
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds.
I will be as The Elyon (The Highest)! 

15 However, to She'ol you have been brought down,
to the borders of The Pit. 
16 One looking at you stares toward you. 
They consider,"Is this the man agitating the earth, shaking kingdoms,
17 establishing the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities,
his prisoners not setting free to his house?’ 
18 All the kings of the nations,
all of them,
have laid down in honor,
each man in his house. 

19 But you yourself את 
have been thrown from your grave
like an detestable sprout,
like the clothing of those who are killed,
thrust through with a sword, 
going down to the stones of the pit
like a trampled corpse. 
20 You are not united with they themselves את in burial 
because you have corrupted your land. 
Your people you have killed. 
The seed of those doing wrong
will not be mentioned to eternity! 
21 Prepare a slaughter for his children
with the perversion of their fathers. 
They are not to stand up and inherit the land
and fill the face of the world with cities.”

Luke 10.18:  And He said to them,
“I observed The Adversary falling like lightning from The Heaven!

Revelation 12.7-11  Then warfare happened in The Heaven.
Michael and his messengers battled with the dragon.
And the dragon and his messengers battled,
8 but they had no strength,
nor was a place found for them in The Heaven any longer.
9 So the great dragon was thrown out,
the ancient serpent called The Devil and Satan,
who deceives the whole world.
He was thrown onto the earth,
and his messengers were thrown down with him.
 0 Then I heard a loud voice saying in The Heaven,
“This day deliverance has come,
even the miraculous power,
and the kingdom of our Elohim, 
and the authority of His Messiah,
because the accuser of our brothers
who brought charges against them
in the presence of our Elohim day and night,
has been thrown down.
11 And they conquered him by the blood of The Lamb
and by the message of their testimony.
And they had not loved their lives, even up to death.

He Offended Against YAHWEH:

2 Peter 2.4:  Indeed, if YAHWEH did not spare
the messengers who offended,
but instead has incarcerated them
in eternal torture,
having delivered them into chains of gloom,
to be guarded until judgment,

1 John 3.8:  He who sins is of the false accuser,
because the false accuser has sinned since the beginning.
 For this reason
The Son of YAHWEH has been rendered apparent,
in order that He might destroy the works of the false accuser.

He Was Cast Out Of Heaven:

Isaiah 14.12-14:   How you have fallen from The Heavens,
Morning Star, son of the dawn! 
You have been cut down to the ground, 
you who weakened the nations!

And you yourself את have said in your heart, 
‘I will ascend to The Heavens! 
Higher than the stars of The El
I will raise up my throne! 
And I will sit on the mountan of assembly 
on the borders of the north! 
14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. 
I will be as The Elyon (The Highest)!

Luke 10.18:  And He said to them,
“I observed The Adversary
falling like lightning from The Heaven!

John 12.31  Now is the judgment of this world!
Now the ruler of this world shall be ejected.

Revelation 12.9:  So the great dragon was thrown out,
the ancient serpent called The Devil and Satan,
who deceives the whole world.
He was thrown onto the earth,
and his messengers were thrown down with him.

He Was Cast Down to Hell:

2 Peter 2.4: Indeed, if YAHWEH did not spare
the messengers who offended,
but instead has incarcerated them in eternal torture,
having delivered them into chains of gloom,
to be guarded until judgment,

Jude 6:  Even the messengers who did not guard their beginning,
but instead abandoned their own dwelling place
He has imprisoned with everlasting chains under gloom
until the judgment of the great day;

He is the Author of "The Fall":

Genesis 3.1:  Now The Shining One was more shrewd 
than any living being of the open country 
which YAHWEH, The Elohim, had made.
And he said to the woman,
“Indeed, because The Elohim has said, 
‘You are not to eat from every tree of the garden…” 
2 And the woman said to The Shining One, 
“From the fruit of the trees of the garden we are to eat, 
3 but from the fruit of the tree 
which is in the center of the garden The Elohim has said, 
‘You are not to eat from it 
and you are not to lay your hand on it lest you die.’ ” 
4. And The Shining One said to the woman, 
“Dying? You will not die. 
5 Indeed The Elohim knows 
that in the day of your eating from it 
your eyes also will be opened 
and you will be like The Elohim, knowing good and bad.” 
6. And the woman saw that the tree was good for eating, 
and that it was desirable to the eyes. 
And she was desiring the tree for the sake of being made wise. 
And she took from its fruit. 
And she ate. 
And she also gave to her man beside her. 
And he ate. 
7 And the eyes of the two of of them were opened. 
And they knew that they were naked. 
And they sewed fig leaves together. 
And they made for themselves loin cloths. 

8 And they heard the sound itself את of YAHWEH, The Elohim, 
coming into the garden at the breezy time of the day. 
And the human being and his woman hid themselves 
from the face of YAHWEH, The Elohim, 
in the middle of the trees of the garden.
9. And YAHWEH, The Elohim, called to the human being. 
And He said to him, “Where are you?”
10. And he said, 
“I heard the sound of You itself את in the garden 
and I was afraid because I am naked. 
And I hid.”
11. And He said, “Who explained to you
that you yourself את are naked? 
From the tree of which I gave direction to you 
about not eating from it, have you eaten?”
12. And the human being said, 
“The woman whom You gave to be beside me, 
she gave to me from the tree. 
And I ate.”
13. And YAHWEH, The Elohim, said to the woman, 
“What is this you have done?” 
And the woman said, 
“The Shining One deceived me. 
And I ate.” 

14. And YAHWEH, The Elohim, said to The Shining One, 
“Because you have done this 
you yourself את are bitterly cursed among all the animals 
and among every living being of the open country. 
On your belly you will travel. 
And dust you will eat all the days of your life.
15. And I establish hostility between you and the woman 
and between your seed and her seed. 
He Himself will bruise your head. 
And you yourself will bruise His heel.” 

16. To the woman He said, 
“I increase, increase your pain, also your pregnancy. 
With pain you will bring forth children. 
Yet your longing (sexual) will be for your man. 
And he will have authority over you.” 

17. And to the human being He said, 
“Because you have listened attentively 
to the voice of your woman, 
and have eaten from the tree 
of which I gave direction to you saying, 
‘You are not to eat from it!’, 
the soil has been bitterly cursed because of you. 
In pain you will eat from it all the days of your life. 
18. And thorns and thistles will be caused to sprout for you. 
And you will eat the plants themselves את of the open space. 
19 With the sweat of your brow you will eat food 
until you return to the soil, because out of it you were taken. 
Since you yourself את are dust even to dust you will return.”

20. And the human being called his woman's name Chavvah 
because she became the mother of all humans alive. 

21. And YAHWEH, The Elohim, made tunics of skin 
for the human being and his woman. 
And He clothed them. 

22. And YAHWEH, The Elohim said, 
“Behold! The human being exists like one of Us, 
knowing good and bad. 
And now lest he put out his hand  and take also 
from The Tree of The Life and eat and live forever...!”

23. And YAHWEH, The Elohim, 
sent him out of the garden of Eden to work the soil itself את 
from which he had been taken, from there. 

24. And He drove out the human being himself את.
And He established at the front of the garden of Eden 
the cherubim themselves את and the flaming sword itself את
which turned every way to protect the way itself את to The Tree of The Life.

The issue of “the serpent” verses ”The Shining One”
is extremely important. 

He Perverts Scripture:

Matthew 4.6-11: and he said to Him,
“If You are a son of YAHWEH throw Yourself down.
Because indeed it is written,
“He will give His messengers charge over you,’ (Ps. 91.11)
‘In their hands they will bear you up,
lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ” (Ps. 91.12)
7 YAHUSHUA spoke to him,
“It is written again,
‘You are no to test YAHWEH, your Elohim.’ ” (Deut. 6.16)
8 Once more The False Accuser
took Him up upon an exceedingly high mountain
and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world
and their honor.
9 And he said to Him,
“All these things I will give You
if You will fall down and worship me.
10 Then YAHUSHUA said to him,
“Get away, adversary!
For it is written,
‘You are to worship YAHWEH, your Elohim,
and Him only you are to serve.’ ” (Deut. 5.7, etc.)
11 Then The False accuser let Him alone.
And behold!
YAH-Messengers came and attended to Him.

The following references prove the perversion of Scripture
which The Adversary used with YAHUSHUA (Jesus):

Psalms 91.11:  For He will give His messengers charge over You,
to keep You in all Your ways.
12 They will bear You up in their hands,
 lest You dash Your foot against a stone.

Deuteronomy 6.16:  You are not to test YAHWEH, your Elohim (God),
as you tested Him at Massah.

Exodus 20.1-6: And The Elohim spoke all these words themselves את saying, 
20.2 “I Myself am YAHWEH, your Elohim, 
Who brought you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery.

20.3 There is not to exist for your sake
any other mighty ones above My presence. 
20.4 You are not to make for yourself a carved image, 
even any form that is in the skies, from above, 
even which is on the ground, from beneath, 
even which is in the waters, from below the ground. 
20.5 You are not to prostrate yourself before them 
and you are not to serve them 
because I Myself, YAHWEH, your Elohim, am a zealous El, 
paying attention to the perversity of fathers 
upon children to the third and fourth generations of those hating Me, 
20.6 but doing kindness to thousands, 
to those loving Me and guarding My directives.

He Opposes God's Work:

Zechariah 3.1:  And He showed me Yahoshua (Joshua) the high priest
standing before the messenger of YAHWEH,
and The Adversary standing at His right hand to resist Him.

1Thessolonians 2.18:  Therefore, we wanted to come to you,
even I, Paul, time and again,
but The Adversary detained us.

He Hinders The Gospel:

Matthew 13.19:  When anyone hears the message of The Kingdom
yet does not understand
it the hurtful one comes
and seizes what was sown in his heart.
This is the seed beside the road.

2 Corinthians 4.3-4:  But even if our good news is covered up,
it is covered up to those who are perishing,
whose minds the god of this age has blinded;
who disbelieve,

of the good news of The Messiah,
Who is the likeness of YAHWEH,
might shine on them.

He Works Lying Wonders:

2 Thessalonians 2.8-12: 
And then “The Lawless One” will be revealed,
whom YAHWEH will consume with the breath of His mouth,
and will render entirely useless
by the appearance of His presence;
9 whose coming (The Lawless One) is according to
the operation of The Adversary,
by every force,
and by miracles,
and by lying wonders,
10 and with every delusion of injustice
among those who are being totally destroyed
because they did not accept the love of he Truth
 in order that they might have been delivered.
11 And for this reason
 YAHWEH will send them effective deception
so that  they believe The Lie,
12 in order that everyone might be condemned
who does not trust In The Truth,
but instead, has pleasure in injustice.

Revelation 16.14:  Indeed, they are defiled natures
performing signs,
being sent out to the kings of the earth
and of the whole world,
to gather them to the battle
of that great day of YAHWEH, The Almighty.

He Assumes the Form of an "Angel of Light":

2 Corinthians 11.13-15:  Indeed, such are false ambassadors,
deceitful workers,
transforming themselves into ambassadors of The Messiah.
14 And this is nothing to be wondered at
because The Adversary himself
disguises himself as a messenger of illumination.
15 Accordingly, it is no great thing
if his servants are also disguised
as servants of justification,
whose end will be according to their works.

The Wicked Are Children of The Devil:

Matthew 13.38-42:  And the field is the world.
And the good seeds are the children of The Kingdom,
but the tares are the children of the hurtful one.
39 And the enemy who sowed them is The False Accuser.
And the harvest is the end of the age.
And the harvesters are the YAH-messengers.
40 Therefore exactly as the tares
are gathered and burned in the fire,
so will it be at the end of this age.
41 The Son of Man will send out His messengers
and they will gather out of His Kingdom
everything that offends,
even those who practice lawlessness,
42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire.
There will be lamentation and grating of the teeth.

Acts 13.10:  and said, “Oh full of every deceit
and every reckless act,
son of The Adversary,
enemy of all right acts;
you will not stop perverting the straight paths of YAHWEH.

1 John 3.10:  in this the children of YAHWEH
 nd the children of The False Accuser are rendered apparent.
Whoever does not practice justification
is not of YAHWEH,
nor is he who does not love his brother;

The Wicked Follow Him:

1 Timothy 5.15: Indeed, some have already turned aside after The Adversary.

John 8.44:  You are of your father, The False Accuser,
and the desires of your father you desire to do.
He was a murderer from the beginning,
and does not stand in the truth,
because there is no truth in him.
When he speaks a lie, he speaks from himself,
because he is a liar, and the father of it.

The Wicked Are Possessed By Him:

Matthew 4.24: Then awareness of Him went into all of Syria.
And they brought to Him all the sick people
who were afflicted with various afflictions and torments,
and those who were possessed by defiled natures,
and epileptics,
and paralytics.
And He healed them.

Matthew 8.16: Then, it having become evening,
they brought to Him many
who were possessed by defiled natures.
And He ejected the defiled natures with a word
and healed all that had diseases.

Matthew 8.28-33: And having come across the sea
into the area of the Gergesenes,
He encountered two who were possessed with defiled natures
coming out of the tombs,
exceedingly dangerous,
so that no one was able to come near that road.
29 And behold!
They cried out saying,
“What have we to do with You, YAHUSHUA,
You Son of YAHWEH?
Have You come here to torture us before the time?”

30 Now a good way off from them
there was a herd of many swine feeding.
31 Then the defiled natures begged Him saying,
“If You eject us, allow us to go away into the herd of swine.”
32 And He said to them, “Go away!” 
And having come out, they went into the herd of swine.
And behold!
The whole herd of swine
rushed down the steep bank into the sea
and died in the water.
33 Now those who tended them ran away.
And they went away into the town
and announced everything,
even what had happened
to the ones possessed with defiled natures.

Matthew 9.32-34:  Now they, having gone out, behold!
They brought to Him a person mute
and possessed by a defiled nature.
 33 And when the defiled nature was ejected
the mute one spoke.
And the crowds marveled saying,
“This has never been seen in YiIsra’el!”
34 But the Pharisees said,
“He ejects unclean natures by the ruler of the unclean natures.”

Matthew 12.22:  Then one was brought to Him
who was possessed by a defiled nature,
blind and mute.
And He healed him.
Thus the blind and mute one both spoke and saw.

Luke 22.3-6:  Then The Adversary entered Yahudah,
surnamed Iscariot,
being from the number of the twelve.
4 And he went and talked with the chief priests
and Temple captains
how he might betray Him to them.
5 And they were glad and agreed to give him silver.
6 So he agreed fully
and sought a favorable occasion
to betray Him to them
apart from the crowd.

Acts 5.3-5:  But Peter said,
“Ananias, why has The Adversary
filled your heart to lie
to the set apart Divine Nature of YAHWEH
and keep back part of the price of the land?
4 While it remained was it not indeed still your own?
And after it was sold
was it not still under your own authority?
Why have you placed this thing in your heart?
You have not lied to human beings,
but rather to YAHWEH.”
5 Then Ananias, hearing these words,
fell down and expired.
And great fright came upon all those hearing these things.

Acts 8.7:  Indeed, many of those having defiled natures,
crying with a loud voice, came out of them.
Now many who were paralyzed and crippled were healed.

Ephesians 2.1-2:  And you are dead to the errors and the sins
2 in which you formerly walked
according to this worldly age,
according to the chief ruler of the authority power of the air,
the nature which is now working in the children of disbelief,

The Wicked Are Deceived By Him:

1 Samuel 16.14: And the Divine Nature of YAHWEH departed from Sha’ul. 
And he was terrified by a hurtful nature from YAHWEH Himself את.

1 Kings 22.21:  And an essence came forward. 
And he stood before YAHWEH. 
And he said, ‘I myself will entice him.’ 
22.22 And YAHWEH said to him, ‘With what?’ 
And he said, ‘I will go out and be an essence of lying 
in the mouth of all his prophets.’ 
And He said, ‘Entice him!’ 
And also, 'You will be able.
Go out and do according to this!’

2 Timothy 2.24-26:  Now a slave of The Master
must not quarrel, but instead, be kind to all,
able to teach,
enduring of ill,
25 in humility educating those who are in opposition,
if YAHWEH perhaps might give them repentance,
for the sake of recognition of the truth,
26 and they might come to their senses
 and escape the snare of the false accuser,
having been taken captive by him into his will.

Revelation 20.7-8:  And when the thousand years have been completed
The Adversary will be released from his prison
20:8 and will go out to deceive the nations
which are in the four corners of the earth,
Gog and Magog,
to gather them together into battle
whose number is like the sand of the sea.

His Character Revealed:

Job 1.6-12: And there was a day. 
And the sons of the elohim came
to station themselves beside YAHWEH.
And The Adversary also came into the midst of them.
7 And YAHWEH said to The Adversary,
“From where do you come?”
And The Adversary responded
to YAHWEH Himself את.
And he said,
“From roaming on the earth,
even from walking myself upon it.”

Job 1:8 And YAHWEH said to The Adversary,
“Have you set your heart upon My servant, Iyowb?
Indeed, there is none compared to him on earth.
He is a blameless man, and upright,
revering The Elohim
and turning aside from what is bad.”

Job 1:9 And The Adversary responded to YAHWEH Himself את.
And he said,
“Is it for nothing Iyowb is revering The Elohim?
Job 1:10 Are not You Yourself את
a hedge on behalf of him,
and on behalf of his household,
and on behalf of all that is his from all around?
The work of his hands You have blessed.
And his livestock has increased in the land.
Job 1:11 But stretch out Your hand now,
and strike against all that is his.
He will surely curse You to Your face!” 

Job 1:12 Then YAHWEH said to The Adversary,
“Behold!
All that is his is in your hand.
Except toward him you are not to extend a hand.”
And The Adversary went out
from the face of YAHWEH.

Job 2.1-7:  And there was a specific day.
And the sons of the elohim came
to station themselves themselves beside YAHWEH.
And The Adversary also came among them
to station himself beside YAHWEH. 

Job 2:2 And YAHWEH said to The Adversary,
“From where are you coming?”
And The Adversary responded to YAHWEH Himself את.
And he said,
“From roaming on the earth,
even from walking myself upon it.” 

Job 2:3 And YAHWEH said to The Adversary,
“Have you placed your heart upon My servant Iyowb?
Indeed, there is none compared to him on earth,
a man blameless and upright,
revering The Elohim
and turning aside from what is bad?
And he is still holding firmly onto his integrity.

But you caused Me to be stirred up against him

for the sake of destroying him without cause.”

Job 2:4 And The Adversary responded
to YAHWEH Himself את.
And he said, “Skin on behalf of skin!
But all that a man has he will give
on behalf of his life!
5 However, stretch out Your hand now
and strike aganst his bone and his flesh.
Surely he will curse You to Your face!”

Job 2:6 And YAHWEH said to The Adversary,
“Behold!
He is in your hand.
Except you are to preserve his life itself את.”

Job 2:7 And The Adversary went out
from the face of YAHWEH itself את.
And he struck Iyowb himself את with severe boils
from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.

Luke 8.29-30:  Indeed, He had directed the defiled nature
to come out of the person,
because many times it had seized him.
And he was kept shackled with chains and fetters.
And he broke the bonds
and was driven by the defiled natures into the wilderness.
30 Then YAHUSHUA asked him saying,
“What is your name?” And he said, “Legion.”
because many unclean natures had entered into him.

Luke 9.39-42:  And behold! A defiled nature takes hold of him
and he suddenly screams.
And it convulses him with froth.
And bruising him it goes away with great difficulty.
40 And I begged Your students to eject it,
yet they were not able.”
41 Then YAHUSHUA responding said,
“Oh disbelieving and corrupt generation!
How long will I be with you and put up with you?
Bring your son here!”
42 Now as he was still approaching
the defiled nature lacerated himand convulsed him violently.
Then YAHUSHUA admonished the defiled nature,
cured the child,
and gave him back to his father.

2 Corinthians 11.3:  But I fear lest somehow
as The Adversary seduced Eve through the very same trickery,
in this same way your thoughts might be corrupted
from the singleness that is in The Messiah.

Ephesians 2.1-3:  And you are dead to the errors and the sins
2 in which you formerly walked
according to this worldly age,
according to the chief ruler
of the authority power of the air,
the defiled nature
which is now working in the children of disbelief,
3 among whom we also all formerly lived
in the longings of our flesh,
doing the choices of the flesh and of the mind
 and were by nature children of wrath, even like the rest.

Ephesians 6.11-13:  Put on the whole armor of YAHWEH
 so that you may be able to stand
against the trickery of The Adversary.
12 Indeed, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,
but instead, we wrestle against chief rulers,
against authorities,
against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age,
against non-carnal depravity in The Heavens.
13 Because of this,
take up the whole armor of YAHWEH
 in order that you might be able to resist
in the hurtful day,
and having accomplished absolutely everything,
to stand firm.

James 4.7:  Therefore surrender yourselves to YAHWEH!
Stand against The False Accuser
and he will run away from you!

1 Timothy 3.6:  not a novice, lest being conceited
he might fall into the same condemnation
as The False Accuser.

1 Peter 5.8-9:  Be sober!
Stay alert,
because your opponent, The False Accuser,
is walking about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may swallow up;
9 whom you are to resist,
 being stable in the faith,
understanding that the same sufferings
are being fulfilled by your brotherhood amidst the world.

HE HAS BEEN DEFEATED BY THE MESSIAH:

Genesis 3.15:  And I will put hostility between you and the woman,
and between your seed and her seed.
He Himself will bruise your head,
and you yourself will bruise His heel.
(The Messiah is "the seed of woman" spoken of here.)

Matthew 4.10-11:  Then YAHUSHUA said to him,
“Get away, adversary! For it is written,
‘You are to worship YAHWEH, your Elohim,
and Him only are you to serve.’ ” (Deut. 5.7, etc.)
11 Then The False Accuser let Him alone.
And behold!
YAH-Messengers came and attended to Him.

Matthew 10.1:  And having invited His twelve students to Him,
He gave them authority over defiled natures,
to expel then,
and to heal every malady and every disease.

Mark 16.17-18:  Now these signs will follow closely
those who trust.
In My Name they will eject defiled natures,
they will speak new languages,
18 they will pick up snakes,
and if they drink any deadly thing
it will by no means harm them.
They will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.”

Luke 11.20:  But if I eject unclean natures by the finger of YAHWEH
 truly, The Kingdom of YAHWEH has arrived before you.

Luke 13.32:  And He said to them, “Go, tell that fox,
‘Behold!
I eject defiled natures and accomplish healings
today and tomorrow,
and the third day It is finished.’

Colossians 2.15:  Having plundered principalities and authorities,
He made a public spectacle of them,
triumphing over them by it.

Hebrews 2.14-18:  Certainly then
since the children share flesh and blood,
He Himself in a similar manner participated in the same,
in order that through death
He might render entirely useless
him who has “the power of death”
that is, The False Accuser,
15 and release those, as many as fear death,
because all their lives they were held in bondage.
16 Now indeed, He did not take upon Himself
 the form of YAH-messengers,
but on the contrary,
He did take upon Himself the form of the seed of Abraham.
17 Therefore concerning all this,
it was necessary for Him to become similar to His brothers,
in order that He might become
a compassionate and trustworthy High Priest
Who is before YAHWEH, atoning for the sins of the people.
18 Indeed, in that He Himself has suffered, having been tested,
He is able to be helping those who are being tested.

Now If you don't know YAHUSHUA (Jesus),
The Messiah of YAHWEH,
as your personal Sovereign and Redeemer
- that is, if you have never asked Him to forgive you of your sin,
and have not surrendered all of your life to Him
- then you are living under the power and control
of The Adversary, The Devil.
You are subject to all his ways,
and to his same fate
- punishment that lasts forever,
amidst the absence of everything that is considered to be "good".

You can be set free from The Adversary's dominion over you
- by the simple, yet profound, act
of choosing to trust in YAHUSHUA, and His Father, YAHWEH,
and what Scripture teaches He has done for you,
be granted the gift of forgiveness (pardon)
for all your rebellion against YAHWEH
and rejection of His proper authority over your life.

You can also receive the gift of eternal life (immortality) in His presence
- both in the limited sense of His indwelling presence right now,
and in the permanent existence in His eternal presence in the future.

In a relationship with Him you will experience
love, joy, peace, and a future that is available nowhere else.
If you're truly serious about doing this
all you need to do is tell YAHWEH,
in whatever manner seems appropriate,
that you are very serious about this.
Then ask Him to become The Sovereign (the ruler)
of every aspect of your life.
Then show it by changing the way you live,
seeking to live according to His desires.

Denial, lying, deception - they are all his tactics.

YAHUSHUA is The Truth!
John 14:6  YAHUSHUA (Jesus) said to him,
“I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father, except through me.
 
He is the ONLY ONE Who can set you free
from the dominion of Satan. 
Ask Him to do that for you right now.
