YAHUSHUA - His Life

YAHUSHUA is the proper Hebrew personal name of "Jesus". It is the name we should be using every day to refer to Him. There are five parts to this series of pages. The following links will take you to the other pages:

  - YAHUSHUA - His Life

 -
YAHUSHUA - His Last Days

 -
YAHUSHUA - His Crucifixion and Death

 -
YAHUSHUA - His Resurrection
  - YAHUSHUA - His Ascension and Second Coming

The Scriptures listed below refer to some of the more important issues related to the life and teachings of YAHUSHUA, (Jesus). Needless to say, this is not an all-inclusive list. That would take far more space to cover. Rather, this is intended to provide an of overview of some of the highlights of who He really is and what His life on earth was all about. It's intended to encourage you to explore more fully a deep understanding of His life and teachings.

Let's take a moment to consider His Name. YAHSHUA (Jesus) of Nazareth was born to Hebrew parents. In Hebrew,His name is YAHUSHUA. It's virtually identical to Yahoshua in the Old Testament, which is translated into English as Joshua. This name means YAH (or YAHWEH) saves, or is salvation. His name, as most names in Scripture, expresses His very essence - The Savior. While He is known as, and referred to as, Jesus, Yeshua, Yahshua, Jesus Christ, Christ Jesus, The Messiah, ha Mashiach, Son of God, Son of Man, etc., His Name is YAHUSHUA. It's important that we rediscover this important truth so we can properly use His personal name. (See The Personal Name of The Messiah)

While we're on this subject, let's correct another common misunderstanding. Many use the term "Jesus Christ", or "Christ Jesus", because that's what they see in their English Bible translations. However, this is not really correct either. Again, His name is YAHUSHUA. It is not Jesus Christ or Christ Jesus. Christ is His title, not His name. If one were to use those terms more correctly you would need to say, "Jesus, The Christ", or "The Christ, Jesus". "The Christ" is His title, which reveals His role and His authority. And the reality is, "Christ" is also a perversion of the Hebrew concept. Wherever "Christ" is found it should be replaced with The Messiah. (See Titles of The Messiah) One's name is separate from one's title. To use a title is like saying, "Mister Jesus".

We speak incorrectly when we use these terms in this manner. When we're referring to The Messiah, YAHUSHUA, or to His Father, YAHWEH, we ought to be more respectful in the use of their proper names, and understand what we're doing. Clarifying our speech on these matters can help us understand more clearly who YAHUSHUA is, and what His role is in our lives. The same is true of YAHWEH, our God (The Elohim of Genesis 1.1). (See The Personal Name of God)

Only Scripture passages are presented below, without further commentary. Please review them in their original context as well (look up the verses in The Bible, and look at the surrounding verses) to gain the full benefit of the meaning of these passages. The context in which they occur is very important when seeking to fully understand their meaning and usage.

YAHUSHUA Pre-Existed with YAHWEH

John 1.1:  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with The Elohim and the Word was The Elohim. 2 The same was in the beginning with The Elohim. 3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 8.58:  YAHUSHUA said to them, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM

The term, "I AM" comes from an Old Testament Hebrew word and concept It can only be truly understood from this perspective. It's Strong's Exhaustive Concordance number and definition are as follows:
1961.
hÎyDh hayah, haw-yaw; a primitive root (compare 1933); to exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary): —beacon, x altogether, be(-come), accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, x have, last, pertain, quit (one-)self, require, x use.

YAHUSHUA was actually stating that  before Abraham existed, He existed.

John 17.5:  And now, Father, glorify Me with Your own self, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

John 17.24:  Father, I will that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which You have given Me: for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world has not known You: but I have known You, and these have known that You have sent Me.

Colossians 1.17:  And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

Revelation 22.13:  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Prophecies Concerning His Coming

Genesis 3.15:  And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel. (reference is to the "seed" of woman, and it is singular, not plural)

Genesis 49.10:  The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto Him shall the gathering of the people be. (Shiloh is a euphemism for The Messiah.)

Deuteronomy 18.15:  YAHWEH, your Elohim, will raise up unto you a prophet from the midst of you, of your brothers, like me; to Him you shall listen.

Psalms 2.1:  Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against YAHWEH, and against His anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He that sits in the Heavens shall laugh. YAHWEH shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall He speak to them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure. 6 Yet have I set My king upon My holy hill of Zion. 7 I will declare the decree: YAHWEH has said to me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten You.

Psalms 45.2:  You are fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into Your lips: therefore YAHWEH has blessed You for ever.

Psalms 69.6:  Let not them that wait on You, YAHWEH, YAHWEH of Assemblies, be ashamed for my sake. Let not those that seek You be confounded for My sake, Oh Elohim of Israel, 7 because for Your sake I have born reproach; shame has covered My face. 8 I have become a stranger to My brothers, and an alien unto My mother’s children. 9 For the zeal of Your house has eaten Me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached You have fallen upon Me. 10 When I wept, and chastened My soul with fasting, that was to My reproach. 11 I made sackcloth also My garment; and I became a proverb to them. 12 They that sit in the gate speak against Me; and I was the song of the drunkards. 13 But as for Me, my prayer is unto You, YAHWEH, in an acceptable time: Oh YAHWEH, in the multitude of Your mercy hear Me, in the truth of Your salvation 14 deliver Me out of the mire, and let Me not sink: let Me be delivered from them that hate Me, and out of the deep waters. 15 Let not the waterflood overflow Me, neither let the deep swallow Me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon Me. 16 Hear Me, YAHWEH, for Your lovingkindness is good. Turn to Me according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, 17 and hide not Your face from Your servant; for I am in trouble.  Hear Me speedily. 18 Draw near to My soul, and redeem it: deliver Me because of My enemies. 19 You have known My reproach, and My shame, and My dishonor. My adversaries are all before You. 20 Reproach has broken My heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. 21 They gave Me also gall for My meat; and in My thirst they gave Me vinegar to drink. (Prophetic of The Messiah.)

Psalms 110.1:  YAHWEH said unto my Sovereign, "Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies your footstool." 2 YAHWEH shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. You shall rule in the midst of your enemies. 3 Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power. In the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth. 4 YAHWEH has sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. (Prophetic of The Messiah.)

Psalms 118.22:  The stone which the builders refused has become the head stone of the corner. 23 This is YAHWEH's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. 24 This is the day which YAHWEH has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (The day of salvation and redemption.) 25 Save now, I beseech You, O YAHWEH. YAHWEH, I beseech You, send now prosperity. 26 Blessed is He that comes in the name of YAHWEH. We have blessed You out of the house of YAHWEH.

Psalms 132.11:  YAHWEH has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it: Of the fruit of your body will I set upon your throne.

Isaiah 2.4:  And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YAHWEH, to the house of The Elohim of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 7.14:  Therefore YAHWEH Himself shall give you a sign. Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel. 15 Butter and honey shall He eat, that He may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. 16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good The land that You abhor shall be forsaken of both her kings.

Isaiah 9.2:  The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them has the light shone.

Isaiah 9.6:  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. And the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty Elohim, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of YAHWEH of Assemblies will perform this.

Isaiah 11.1:  And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And The Spirit of YAHWEH shall rest upon Him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of knowledge and of the fear of YAHWEH; 3 and shall make Him of quick understanding in the reverence of YAHWEH. And He shall not judge after the sight of His eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of His ears: 4 but with righteousness shall He judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked. 5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and faithfulness the girdle of His reins.

Isaiah 11.10:  And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people. To it shall the Gentiles seek. And His rest shall be glorious.

Isaiah 25.8:  He will swallow up death in victory; and YAHWEH Elohim will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the earth: for YAHWEH has spoken it. 9 And it shall be said in that day, Behold, this is our Elohim; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is YAHWEH; we have waited for Him. We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.

Isaiah 28.16:  Therefore thus says YAHWEH Elohim, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make be in a hurry.

Isaiah 42.1:  Behold My servant, whom I uphold; My elect, in whom My soul delights; I have put My spirit upon Him. He shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall He not break, and the smoking flax shall He not quench: He shall bring forth judgment unto truth. 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till He has set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for His law.

Isaiah 52.13:  Behold, My servant shall deal prudently. He shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. 14 As many were astonished at You. His visage was so marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men. 15 So shall He sprinkle many nations. The kings shall shut their mouths at Him, for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

Isaiah 53:1:  Who has believed our report, and to whom is the arm of YAHWEH revealed? 2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground. He has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid, as it were, our faces from Him. He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. 4 Surely He has born our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten of YAHWEH, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth. He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment. And who shall declare His generation, for He was cut off out of the land of the living? For the transgression of My people was He stricken. 9 And He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death, because He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth. 10 Yet it pleased YAHWEH to bruise Him. He has put Him to grief. When You shall make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed. He shall prolong his days, and the desire of YAHWEH shall prosper in His hand. 11 He (YAHWEH) shall see the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous servant justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He has poured out His soul unto death. And He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 59.16:  And He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore His arm brought salvation unto Him; and His righteousness, it sustained Him.

Zechariah 2.10:  Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for behold, I come; and I will dwell in the midst of you, says YAHWEH.

Zechariah 3.8:  Hear now, O Yahoshua (Joshua) the high priest, you and your fellows that sit before you: for they are men wondered at. For, behold, I will bring forth My servant The BRANCH. 9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Yahoshua (Joshua); upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, says YAHWEH of Assemblies, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Zechariah 6.12:  And speak to him, saying, Thus speaks YAHWEH of Assemblies, saying, Behold the man whose  is called The BRANCH; and He shall grow up out of His place, and He shall build the temple of YAHWEH: 13 Even He shall build the temple of YAHWEH. And He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon His throne. And He shall be a priest upon His throne. And the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Zechariah 9.9: Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes to you. He is just, and having salvation, lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt, the foal of an ass.

Zechariah 11.12:  And I said unto them, If you think good, give My price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for My price thirty pieces of silver.

Zechariah 12.10:  And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon Me, whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Malachi 3.1: Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me. And YAHWEH, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in. Behold, He shall come, says YAHWEH of Assemblies.

His Birth

Matthew – Chapters 1 & 2

Luke – Chapter 1.1 through Chapter 2.39.

His Baptism

Matthew 3.1:  In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 And saying, Repent., for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of YAHWEH; make His paths straight. 4 And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leather girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. 7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bring forth, therefore, fruits fitting for repentance: 9 and think not to say within yourselves, 'We have Abraham to our father.' For I say unto you that YAHWEH is able from these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10 And now also the axe is laid on the root of the trees: therefore every tree which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire; 12 whose fan is in His hand; and He will throughly purge His floor, and gather His wheat into the garner; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. 13 Then YAHUSHUA came from Galilee to Jordan, to John, to be baptized by him. 14 But John forbade Him, saying, 'I have need to be baptized of You, and do You come to me?' 15 And YAHUSHUA answering said unto him, 'Permit it now, for so it becomes us to fulfil all righteousness.' Then he permitted Him. 16 And YAHUSHUA, when He was baptized, went up immediately out of the water. And behold, the heavens were opened unto Him, and he saw The Spirit of YAHWEH descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: 17 And behold, a voice from Heaven, saying, 'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.'

Mark 1.1:  The beginning of the gospel of YAHUSHUA, The Messiah, the Son of YAHWEH; 2 as it is written in the prophets: Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who shall prepare Your way before You, 3 the voice of one crying in the wilderness, "Prepare you the way of YAHWEH, make His paths straight." 4 John baptized in the wilderness, and preached the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. 5 And there went out to him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. 6 And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey; 7 And preached, saying, There comes one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. 8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but He shall baptize you with The Holy Spirit. 9 And it came to pass in those days, that YAHUSHUA came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 And immediately coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and The Spirit like a dove descending upon Him: 11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, "You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased". 12 And immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. 13 And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tested by Satan, and was with the wild beasts. And the angels ministered unto Him.

Luke 3.15:  And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts about John, whether he was The Messiah, or not, 16 John answered, saying unto all, "I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I comes, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose. He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire; 17 whose fan is in His hand, and He will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into His garner; but the chaff He will burn with fire unquenchable." 18 And many other things in his exhortation did he preach unto the people. 19 But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip’s wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done, 20 added yet this above all, that he shut up John in prison. 21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that YAHUSHUA also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 22 And the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, "You art my beloved Son; in You I am well pleased."

John 1.29:  The next day John saw YAHUSHUA coming to him, and said, "Behold the Lamb of YAHWEH, who takes away the sin of the world. 30 This is He of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for He was before me. 31 And I knew Him not. But that He should be made manifest to Israel, therefore have I come baptizing with water." 32 And John bore record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon Him. 33 And I knew Him not: but He that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom you shall see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is He which baptizes with The Holy Spirit. 34 And I saw, and bore record that this is the Son of YAHWEH.

His Temptation (or testing):

Matthew 4.1:  Then was YAHUSHUA ed up by The Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by The Devil. 2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was, afterward, hungry. 3 And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If You are the Son of YAHWEH, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But He answered and said, "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of YAHWEH." 5 Then The Devil took  Him up into the holy city, and set Him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 and saith unto Him, "If You are the Son of YAHWEH, cast yourself down. For it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning You: and in their hands they shall bear You up, lest at any time You dash Your foot against a stone." 7 YAHUSHUA said to him, "It is written again, 'You shall not tempt YAHWEH, your Elohim.'" 8 Again, The Devil took Him up into an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them, 9 and said to Him, "All these things will I give You, if You will fall down and worship me." 10 Then said YAHUSHUA to him, "Get away, Satan: for it is written, 'You shall worship YAHWEH, your Elohim, and Him only shall You serve.'" 11 Then The Devil left Him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto Him.

Mark 1.12:  And immediately The Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. 13 And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto Him.

Luke 4.1:  And YAHUSHUA, being full of the Holy Spirit, returned from Jordan, and was led by The Spirit into the wilderness, 2 being tempted for forty days by The Devil. And in those days He ate nothing: and when they were ended, He afterward hungered. 3 And The Devil said unto Him, "If You are the Son of YAHWEH, command this stone that it be made bread." 4 And YAHUSHUA answered him, saying, "It is written that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of YAHWEH". 5 And The Devil, taking Him up into an high mountain, showed unto Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And The Devil said to Him, "All this power will I give you, and the glory of them, for that is delivered unto me, and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7 If You, therefore, will worship me, all shall be Yours." 8 And YAHUSHUA answered and said unto him, "Get behind me, Satan, for it is written, "You shall worship YAHWEH, your Elohim, and Him only shall You serve." 9 And he brought Him to Jerusalem, and set Him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto Him, "If You are the Son of YAHWEH, cast yourself down from here; 10 for it is written, 'He shall give His angels charge over You, to keep You; 11 and in their hands they shall bear You up, lest at any time You dash Your foot against a stone.'" 12 And YAHUSHUA answering said unto him, "It is said, 'You shall not tempt YAHWEH your Elohim.'" 13 And when The Devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from Him for a season.

Opposition (by the religious leaders) to YAHUSHUA and His Teachings:

Matthew 12.14:  Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against Him, how they might destroy Him.

Matthew 26.3:  Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, 4 And consulted that they might take YAHUSHUA by subtlety, and kill Him. 5 But they said, "Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people."

Matthew 27.1:  When the morning had come all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against YAHUSHUA to put Him to death. 2 And when they had bound Him, they led Him away, and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate, the governor.

Luke 6.11:  And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to YAHUSHUA.

Luke 19.47:  And He taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy Him,...

Luke 22.3:  Then Satan entered into Judas, surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. 4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him unto them. 5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. 6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray Him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

John 5.16:  And therefore did the Jews persecute YAHUSHUA, and sought to slay Him, because He had done these things on the sabbath day.

John 11.53:  Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put Him to death. 54 YAHUSHUA therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went from there unto a country near the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

His Mission - Why Did He Come to Earth?

Matthew 5.17:  Think not that I am come to destroy The Law, or The Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For truly I say unto you, Until heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from The Law, until all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven: but whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. 20 For I say to you that unless your righteousness shall exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Matthew 20.28:  Even as the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many.

Luke 4.43:  And He said to them, I must preach the Kingdom of YAHWEH to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. 44 And He preached in the synagogues of Galilee.

Luke 12.49:  I have come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

Luke 19.10:  For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

John 3.16:  For YAHWEH so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life; 17 for YAHWEH sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 9.39:  And YAHUSHUA said, For judgment I have come into this world, that they which see not might see, and that they which see might be made blind.

John 10.10:  The thief comes not except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 12.47:  And if any man hears My words, and believes not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

John 18.37:  Pilate therefore said to Him, Are You a king then? YAHUSHUA answered, You say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness to The Truth. Every one that is of The Truth hears My voice.
